Blue pursues me. In life it does not spare me, immediately attracting the sympathy and envy of my iris. So much that I was recently considering the challenge of daily dress in blue. It may be so, dear reader of this blog, that this attraction to the Blue Riviera leads me to consider contemporary artworks in another aspect. Michel Pastoureau, a French medievalist historian, specialist of color symbolism says : «The colors are not insignificant , quite the contrary. They convey codes, taboos, prejudices which we obey without knowing they have a variety of meanings deeply influence our environment, our language, our imagination». Blue stimulates my imagination and I want to share with you a slice , on the basis of an unexpected artistic encounter .
